Days can become seriously drab if one doesn't have anything to look forward to. With the present state I am in, I run the risk of breaking somebody's bones or wasting myself to death soon if I don't channel my energy into something more useful and feel alive rather than just being a vegetable. At work we set objectives for a project and strive to achieve the objectives throughout the year. I have thought of following the same for myself to get my lazy ass moving. And since, I need to break the inertia first I will keep my objectives simple in the beginning. So, here are the objectives I set for myself for the next two weeks:
#1 : Prowl the streets of Goregaon in the morning on Saturday and take snaps. I have been experimenting with the manual mode in my camera (Lumix FZ-18) recently and reading a bit on photography in manual mode. Its time to take the plunge into serious photography.
#2: Teach myself GIMP for editing photos. Its amazing how simple adjustments can improve one photo.
#3: Blog regularly. I have been careless about my blog. Time to change that and retain this layout as far as possible.
#4: Finish reading "Dilbert: Way of the Weasel" and take up Asimov's book.
After two weeks, I will evaluate myself and see where I have reached in fulfilling my objectives. And for now, its time for a cappuccino.

i think this list only consists of Saturdays more than anything else, worry more about work and set yourself a goal there.. i have already given you one, and the progress rate is known more to your cappuccinos i presume.
